Made gluten free sausage cheese balls and they were a hit! (no one knew they were gluten) BBQ pecans, chex mix (which is gluten free) and some yummy desserts! Going to keep trying to alter recipes to make them more 'natural' and healthy. The cheesecake needs a...BIT more altering :/ This was the first time I had ever made a cheesecake so I used regular sugar but will try a sub next time. The good news is that everyone loved the food! When the cheesecake was served the conversation came to a grinding halt with exclamations of 'this is delicious!' peppered throughout. Now time to lay down in exhaustion and happiness :)

I think I found a second rabbit hole...
So naturally when one researches real foods and what it takes to make a healthier future for oneself, they discover other things...such as the beauty of natural childbirth.
Mercy, folks. As if there isn't enough stuff to research in just the 'raw/real foods' area, now I've found another love! I do think it's rather ironic that I'm making a birth plan and I don't have a boyfriend, let alone a husband but it's all in preparation, right?? I'm going to be the most educated pregnant gal out there!
So far my choices are thus:
No epidural, home birth, and possibly unassisted! I'm still researching the last bit but all I've read about epidurals lead me to find that they aren't a good choice. I love the idea of having a baby naturally, listening to my body and doing what women have done for thousands of years!

Well butter my biscuit
I just made a grilled cheese sandwich with amish butter and it was, quite literally, the best GCS I had ever had! Before slowly moving to 'real foods', I'd always used Can't Believe It's Not Butter and always thought the taste was fine. It's almost like living with vanilla ice cream and then suddenly having chocolate! And it's amazing to think that cooking with butter is better than using margarine and fake sprays! LOVE IT!
